Our approach to therapy

Each of our highly trained and credentialed therapists brings their own personal style, professional expertise, clinical interests, and specialties to the practice. Which means we can adjust and adapt our approach as needed to meet you where you are and provide the highest quality of therapy services to meet your unique needs.

There is no one size fits all approach when it comes to psychotherapy or therapy services. We offer a personalized and customized approach with every client and each of our therapists is dedicated to providing a safe, comfortable environment where you’ll receive personalized care from skilled therapists so you can begin your path toward healing.

The relationship between you and your therapist is intended to be fluid and flexible. This flexibility gives you full freedom to talk about the issues or struggles that are most important to you. We recognize that, often, the reason you initially sought out therapy is just the tip of the iceberg. We’re not afraid to roll up our sleeves and dig a little deeper to go beyond the surface and get to the root of the problem or issue. We do this so we can learn more about your personal experiences, struggles, and pain, and most importantly, so we can gain a better understanding of what you hope to gain from therapy.

At every in-person or virtual therapy session, we work together with you to explore your emotional experience as well as the thoughts and behaviors that may be holding you back from living the life you desire.

Our therapists collaborate with you to identify the change(s) you’re seeking in your life. Then, we introduce and empower you with specific tools you can use to build greater self-awareness and self-compassion as well as emotional resiliency and healing so you can move closer toward creating a more fulfilling life experience.

Beginning any kind of therapy is an exercise in vulnerability and trust. We honor and respect the idea that entering therapy and engaging in the process of self-reflection can be scary. Which is why we are committed to providing you with a warm, safe space where you can facilitate a deeper relationship with yourself. It is our sincere privilege to participate in the process of your healing and growth.

Payment & Insurance

Payment can be cash, check or credit card. Payment is expected at the time of each session.

We are an out-of-network provider with most insurance companies. Use our Peace of Mind Calculator to estimate how much you can expect to pay for out-of-network therapy. If you don’t have a specific therapist in mind, enter the name of any therapist from our practice.

We also participate with Reimbursify so clients can submit out of network claims easily for a small fee.


Cancellation Policy

We request that you provide no less than 3 days (72 hours) notification to cancel appointments. We will make every effort to reschedule cancelled sessions within the same week, at no additional fee. If you cancel within the 72 hour period, and we are not able to reschedule within that time frame, you will be responsible for paying the full amount of our session.
