I am an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist, formally trained in couples and family therapy at the California School of Professional Psychology. My path has never been linear. Along the way, I’ve sought out practices and traditions that honor both the complexity of human relationships and the quiet resilience of the body. My work is enriched by a Master’s degree in Cultural Studies, shaping my commitment to multicultural care and deep respect for every client’s unique story.
I am currently enrolled in the Sex Therapy Certificate Program at the Institute for Contemporary Psychotherapy in New York City, a rigorous training grounded in psychodynamic, relational, and somatic approaches to sexuality. This training puts me on the path toward certification as an AASECT-certified sex therapist—an internationally recognized credential that deepens my capacity to support clients in areas of intimacy, sexual wellness, and relational healing with nuance and expertise.
I am certified in contemplative psychotherapy through the Nalanda Institute in New York City—a three-year immersion where Buddhist psychology, neuroscience, mindfulness, and compassion-based methods meet modern clinical practice. This training isn’t just a credential; it is the heart of my presence in the room: patient, precise, attuned, and open. In addition to my foundational education, I have pursued advanced training in Family Constellation, Mindful Parenting, and trauma-informed modalities.
Much of what I offer has been shaped by direct experience—working on the front lines with refugees, holding space for communities in crisis, and supporting earthquake survivors as they reclaimed safety in their bodies. In these moments, I learned how grief lingers in muscle and memory, how hope grows quietly, and how healing often begins not with words, but with presence.
My approach is somatic, systemic, and contemplative. I am interested in what is spoken, and what remains unsaid; in the family stories we inherit, and the new stories we can choose to create. I move at the pace of trust, never rushing what needs time to unfold. Clients describe me as warm, honest, intuitive, and deeply invested in their journey—not a blank slate, but a steady, reflective companion.
Beyond my credentials, I am a mother, a partner, and an immigrant—shaped by poetry as much as by science, by lived experience as much as by study. If you decide to work with me, you will be met with respect, care, and the belief that transformation is possible, even when the path is uncertain.
